ALSO I FORGOT TO MENTION IN THE TUTORIAL that you can add a white outline to your icon.

Just merge everything together (no background though) and (with PS) double-click your layer with your icon and click "Stroke". Then change the color to white and size to "1 pixel", then click "OK". Sorry I completely forgot to add that in there. I'll make sure to do so in the next one

1st part of my tutorial on how I pixelate things. I'm not saying that my way is THE way to pixelate, but it's how I do it and it's been working out (I think).
